September 12 - Boise Koi Show Walk-thru - CANCELLED! Sorry for the late notice!
Bill Layman was planning a live stream a walk-thru of all the show tanks at the Boise Koi Show. Koi health and show management comments were planned by Bill and Karen Pattist.
September 19 - Anoxic Filtration - What Works and What Doesn't, 12 Noon EDT
Alistair Marks in Scotland has spent an enormous amount of time researching Anoxic Filtration for his Koi Pond. He has overcome significant hurdles and will share his experiences of what works and what doesn't. He will discuss the principles of anoxic and how it is made. He will focus on how you can save both energy and cost. His talk will start where his previous presentation left off, and then also include his research on moving bed, drum filters and a new twist on air lifts! This talk should be excellent for all pond owners looking to familiarize themselves with modern filtration alternatives.
April 25 - From Water Garden to Koi Pond - Maximize Water Quality & Minimize Maintenance!
Water gardens are not designed for Koi due to their limited size and shallow depth. Yet many end up hosting Koi due to the popularity of these beautiful fish. Since “Koi Keeping is Water Keeping,” this presentation focuses on maximizing water quality for the benefit of Koi’ health while minimizing weekly maintenance for the owner’s enjoyment.

March 29 - Walkthrough of the National Koi Show
K.O.I.'s Bill Layman is taking Koi to the Show, and will share LIVE views from his camera as he walks thru the show to see all the entries. Prepare to see some GORGEOUS Koi!
July 12 - Personal Experiences with Anoxic Filtration by John Seifert and Phil Goulding
Learn how Anoxic works in real world applications. 2 Koi Keepers with very different expertise levels have now been using Anoxic for over a year, and will present their finding and recommendations.
November 15 - Emergency! What supplies and knowledge do you need to be prepared? Kelvin Davis presenting.
